Prevention.com's Two Day Diet

Prevention.com's Two Day Diet Review

Prevention magazine along with Sari Harrar have created the Two Day diet.

This diet can be a good gateway to eating healthier and exercising more.  Who can't do something for two days out of the week?  The New Year brings such promise and we tend to make big changes in our life, when we should be focusing on smaller, more attainable short term goals while reaching for the big goals down the road.

The meals in this book cater to most people and are non-restrictive.  The meals were designed by fitness experts and health professionals and it provides sample menus.

The book recommends 50g of carbohydrates per day for two days.  The other days, it suggests lean protein, good fats, non starchy veggies and whole grains and fruit.

The exercise portion of the book recommends interval routines consisting of 30 minutes of cardio and 10 -15 minutes of strength training twice a week.

I think if you need to go slowly, this is a good way to start fitting in good healthy eating and exercise. As you change your diet and include exercise, you may want to step up a bit and move on to include more exercise and eating more healthy every day.

Small gains lead to bigger achievments!

If you try this diet, please let me know how it worked for you!
