Get Rid Of Your Belly Fat!
Belly fat is the most stubborn fat. You can exercise for hours and that fat just wants to stay put. What does this tell us? No surprise, according to research, it has to do with what types of food you are eating.
Our ancestors ate a diet that had a ratio of Omega 6 fatty acids and Omega 3 fatty acids of 2:1. Today our diet has a 10:1 ratio. Omega 6's foods found in meat and vegetable oils increase systemic inflammation. A ratio of 2:1 would make this a non issue, but a 10:1 ratio makes the American diet a highly inflammatory diet that not only contributes to asthma, allergies, diabetes and arthritis, it also contributes to obesity.
Omega 3 foods are found in fish like salmon and mackarel, flaxseed, chia seeds and walnuts.
Every day, you should include Omega 3 foods in your diet. Sprinkle chia or flax seeds on your yogurt or cereal. Bake with them, put them in smoothies. Eat walnuts for snack food. Eat more fish.
Reduce and eliminate vegetable oils like corn and sunflower. Eat grass fed red meat in a palm sized portion and not every day. Stay away from cheese puffs and other processed snack foods, fast food like chicken nuggets, onion rings other fried foods, cookies, candies and pastries. Eat in moderation and in correct serving size portions of pork products, dairy and eggs.
As you can see, the foods we normally eat are abundant in Omega 6 fatty acids! Making it a point to include the Omega 3 foods (not just supplements) every day is critical.
You'll find eating less Omega 6's and including more Omega 3's, will not only reduce that belly fat, but will make you healthier and feel better overall!
