Hemp Seeds Benefits

The Nutritional Power of Hemp Seeds is due to it's high quality and durable fibers.  Hemp seeds benefits include heart health and anti inflammation properties.

Hemp seeds were thought to originate in the Himalaya's and brought to this country by Christopher Columbus.  Today, Russia, China and Australia are the top producers of hemp seeds.

Hemp seeds benefit your diet by providing a desirable ration of Omega 6 and Omega 3 fatty acids.

The problem with the American diet is that it contains much more Omega 6 Fatty Acids than Omega 3 Fatty Acids.  This disproportion affects our cholesterol numbers, increasing LDL (bad cholesterol) and decreasing HDL (good cholesterol).  Including hemp seeds in our diet is a simple way to improve a positive LDL to total cholesterol number.

Hemp seeds benefits:

  • Help prevent the formation of dangerous clots that can cause heart attacks or strokes.
  • May favorably affect cardiac performance after a heart attack due to restoration of blood flow.
  • Ingesting two tablespoons of hemp oil daily reduced the effects of eczema and dermatitis.
